An awesome and rare 1960s Leonidas Tipo CP-1 Flyback Chronograph made for the Italian Navy, in a absolutely phenomenal time capsule-esque condition, it’s 38mm stainless steel clamshell case broad and sharp, with its original Bakelite and radium filled bezel with no cracks, and its glossy black dial retaining all of its radium lume and white printed text.
This CP, or Chronometro Pulso, was made exclusively for the Aeronautica Militare Italiana and has its caseback engraving to prove it, this along side its issue number and its insane original condition, qualifies this example as a top tier candidate for one of the best military horological objects I have seen.
It’s Valjoux cal. 222 is running and functioning well. We do not have service history.
