1960's Boucheron Reflet "L'Expansion" Large
This is an absolutely pristine 1960’s Boucheron Reflet with a fully handmade 18K gold “Clous De Paris” case. The French House of Boucheron is an “if you know” kind of brand and notably, not primarily as a watchmaker but as a jewelry maison. However, watches from Boucheron’s catalog circa 1970 and prior are becoming increasingly collectible and harder to find. Especially examples in good condition such as this one.
This Reflet, with its patented integrated case-strap changing system, bears an extra engraving on the caseback, presumably for an employee of the French news paper L'Expansion, which operated from 1967 until its closure in 2014. Little details like that make pieces like this all the more special.

This watch is in exemplary condition and as close to NOS as possible. Strong brushing on the case-flanks are present along with clear 18K gold hallmarks on the caseback and sides.
