1950's Patek Philippe ref. 2533 Calatrava w/ Breguet Numerals & Extract

$139,000.00

A spectacular 1950s Patek Philippe ref. 2533, the successor to the legendary reference 565, in a 35mm 18K yellow gold screwback case, unpolished with every iota of detail preserved throughout the decades, with wide bevels, brushed midcase, and sloped lugs, with a stunning and rarer still applied Breguet numeral dial, both its case and indices having achieved a remarkable matching patina.

The reference 2533 was made seldomly with only 400 examples, and fewer known to surface to market. Research dictates 300 were produced in yellow with the remainder in pink.

It’s beautifully finished caliber 27SC is running well and keeping accurate time. It comes with its extract from the Patek Philippe archives.
