A gorgeous and very hard to find French made 1950s L. Leroy & Cie in a mid-size 33mm screw back steel case with “Batman” lugs, powered by the famous Peseaux cal. 320, displaying the time, a phenomenal matte white dial with raised gold indices and signature details, and a large big eye style sub seconds.
The case, presumably lightly polished in its long life, retains much of the detail intended by its makers, with brushed mid case lines, bevels and its correct mushroom crown. Its dial has so much luster and is starting to brass at 6.
Its Peseaux caliber is revered by collectors and enthusiasts only eclipsed by the larger mythical 260 caliber. Saving the buyer many thousands, this P320 is just as robust.
