An incredible 1940s Tavannes Calatrava in New Old Stock condition, never worn more than sparingly it seems, in a razor sharp 31.5mm 18K yellow gold coin case with a brushed and concave bezel and a stunning two-tone half sector dial, unusual black petite spade hands, powered by one of my favorite chronometer movements, the wonderfully finished Cyma cal 216, paired on its original strap and 18K yellow gold buckle.
This time capsule is sold as NOS and has likely never been serviced but seems to be running well.
