A dashing and uncommon 1940s Patek Philippe ref. 1408 square tank with hooded lugs in steel with applied breguet numerals, measuring a perfect 25x25mm across, 32mm lug to lug, powered by a manual wound Patek caliber 10-110, correct unsigned crown, with its extract from the archives dating the watch manufactured and sold in 1943.
We do not have service history however this watch is running well and is in great condition for its age. Raised enamel intact with evidence of respectful restoration present as is the standard for Patek dials of this era. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise - these dials were meant to be cleaned and restored.
