An exquisite and exceedingly rare 1940s Gallet Flying Officer Chronograph, an early first generation with radium lumed chronograph seconds hand, the same configuration worn by President Truman, in a comically sharp and unpolished 34.5mm stainless steel clamshell case, an early two piece waterproof design and notably sporting a glossy gilt black dial with radium lume, powered by a Venus 150 chronograph caliber which is running well, paired on a beads of rice Gay Freres bracelet.
This example could arguably be one of the best preserved of the era and a real collectors grade specimen because of it.
