Also known as the Truman watch, the example here differs slightly from the configuration worn by the U.S. president Harry Truman. His variation of this watch had a black dial. Other than that, this iteration of the Flying Officer is the variant collectors seek.
Its case remains sharp, with no evidence of more than either sleeve wear or if anything, only light polishing, as the satin brushing remains, along with its lug holes, tight and far from the edges.
