1930's Eberhard Pre-Extrafort Split Second Chronograph 18K YG

$63,995.00

An incredible and rare 1930s Eberhard Pre-Extrafort Split Seconde Chronograph in a large and likely unpolished 40mm triple stepped 18K yellow gold case with a beautiful and undisturbed three-register silvered dial, powered by a Valjoux caliber 65 modified specifically for Eberhard and redubbed as the the EB 1600 with split second module to provide an already legendary chronograph with the ultimate timing complication.

This watch is running, setting and functioning well. As with any old mechanical object it has its quirks. Occasionally the split second mechanism does not reset to zero however in the end it will find its way home. It is paired on a rare 18mm plated AW buckle and fixed upon its immovable bars is a perfectly paired Atilla crafted strap.
