A fascinating and rare object by Cartier, this 1920s Clock Lighter, made of solid silver and coated in black lacquer, has survived a century on earth in absolutely top condition, with all of its hallmarks in tact, its beautiful pad printed dial and lacquer free from anything but natural signs of use present.
The lighter has been cleaned of most of its old surface rust and some lost lacquer has been reapplied in small locations across the top. Its dial, original and cleaned of oxidation is original and retains amazing relief and body.
